    Hexagon Geospatial Snapshot Webcast Series

    Quick. Informative. Educational.

Automating Remote Sensing Workflows with Spatial Modeler
     - Thursday, September 3rd

From image enhancement to change detection to image classification, the value in geospatial data is becoming more and more apparent to more and more businesses.  In the vast majority of  cases, these companies  repeat the same processes over and over on different images, clicking the same buttons and interfaces again and again to get to an actionable result. The IMAGINE Spatial Modeler can streamline all of that.

Join Hexagon Geospatial on Thursday September 3rd, and learn how to use Spatial Models to customize, batch process and share all of those remote sensing workflows in a single model.  Learn how to use the  suite of operators in ERDAS IMAGINE to create and execute basic (or complex)  spatial models, empowering even non-expert users to create sophisticated geospatial products.

We know you are busy, so we designed an educational webcast series with your schedule in mind. Tune in when a topic interests you, and invest 30 minutes learning about how the Hexagon Geospatial Power Portfolio helps you make sense of the changing world.

One remarkable student, Su Zhang, won the coveted 2015 Hexagon Geospatial Education Award. He and his professor, Chris Lippitt, presented their research at HxGN LIVE 2015 in Las Vegas.

This forward-thinking study explored the utility of hyper-spatial resolution (3-millimeter) natural color digital aerial imagery acquired from a low-cost unmanned remote sensing system, in this case a tethered weather balloon, to permit characterization of detailed flexible pavement (i.e. asphalt concrete) surface distress conditions with the help of ERDAS IMAGINE. This type of pavement was selected for this research because it is the most widely used material across the United States. Results indicate great potential for the application ERDAS IMAGINE in hyper-spatial resolution multispectral aerial image processing and analysis.
