The Geospatial Educational Desktop Core program allows students to obtain free software licenses for use in the comfort of their own home. Student licenses must be administered by the university and are available at no additional cost in quantities of 25 seats per Core license purchased (125 for 5-seat Level 1 and 375 for 15-seat Level 2). With this package, students can benefit from a 52-week offering of GeoMedia Professional or IMAGINE Professional, free of charge, along with online tutorials. These licenses are offered on an annual basis only, and do not include add-ons or maintenance support.

Geospatial Educational Server License
The Geospatial Educational Server License includes a package to manage all of your geospatial network resources. With this offering, students and educators can organize, store, send, and process geospatial data on-demand through a reliable system. You can purchase this package on an annual or permanent basis, and it includes software licenses of the following core products:
ERDAS APOLLO Professional
ERDAS APOLLO is a comprehensive data management, analysis, and delivery system. It is an interoperable OGC/ISO-based solution that efficiently organizes massive volumes of data, including imagery, vectors, terrain, LiDAR, web services, and virtually any digital object in the enterprise.
GeoMedia Smart Client Professional
GeoMedia Smart Client makes your organization progressive, enabling all users to seamlessly integrate geographic changes into configurable workflows. Your end users will be able to leverage advanced geospatial functionality via simple-to-use map-based tools, streamlining their processes and honing their expertise.
GeoMedia WebMap Professional
From easily creating web map applications, to providing sophisticated, web-based visualization and analysis that enables manipulation of your enterprise's valuable geographic information, GeoMedia WebMap complements a broad range of customers.
Geospatial Portal is a full-featured, configurable web application that can be used for finding, viewing, querying, analyzing and consuming geospatial data and web services published by Hexagon Geospatial or third party products. It offers advanced client-side discovery, connection, and interaction through a simple client geo-browser that provides an intuitive and attractive user experience.
Geospatial SDI is for providers that need to manage and serve secure or licensed information using standards-based web services. Geospatial SDI offers an extensive set of web services, extending those offered in GeoMedia WebMap and ERDAS APOLLO for SDI implementations.
Free Geospatial Educational Campus-wide Grant
Free Classroom Licenses
The Hexagon Geospatial Education Program offers universities an educational campus-wide grant of up to 500 licenses. With numerous licenses of both GeoMedia Essentials and IMAGINE Essentials, Hexagon Geospatial provides universities a complementary, unique and robust package that other geospatial software companies cannot match.
Free Student Licenses
The Geospatial Educational Campus-wide Grant program allows students to obtain free software licenses for use in the comfort of their own home. With this package, students can benefit from a 52-week offering of GeoMedia Essentials or IMAGINE Essentials along with online tutorials. These licenses are offered on an annual basis only, and do not include maintenance support
Annual Subscription Support
For annual license subscriptions, support is available to help debug or answer any of your questions regarding Hexagon Geospatial software operations. We offer phone support consultations Monday through Friday during our local office support hours listed at Support
Universities must designate two points of contact through which all support will be funneled. The designees will be granted access to the support website through our standard maintenance process.
Annual subscription maintenance does not provide support for the free student licenses and does not provide new-version upgrades to your current software licenses
Permanent Subscription Support
Permanent licenses include maintenance support for the first subscribed year, with the option to purchase additional maintenance for subsequent years.

Additionally, you’ll have access to all the latest updates of your software products covered under your active agreement, as well as around-the-clock access to our problem knowledge base – our online self-help tool.
