Mladen has over 20 years of combined experience across Hexagon companies. During his career, Mladen has held senior leadership positions at Leica Geosystems, Intergraph, and now Hexagon Geospatial. As the President of Hexagon Geospatial, Mladen leads all areas of the business, ensuring a positive customer experience from development and product management to customer support, marketing, and sales. His overarching goal is to lead the company and the industry into a new era of innovation. In his free time, he likes to ski and play soccer.
Becky HarrisChief Financial Officer
Becky has been an integral part of Hexagon for 20 years, serving in a number of key leadership roles within Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure. As the CFO for Hexagon Geospatial, Becky manages our global finance, accounting, and operations teams. Prior to joining Hexagon Geospatial, Becky was the Vice President of Global Financial Operations & Americas Finance and Accounting Director for Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure. She has extensive experience in global accounting and operational finance, with proven successes in management, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, revenue recognition, financial analysis, and financial reporting. Becky holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and attended another university on an athletic scholarship. In her free time, Becky enjoys spending time with her family, reading and going to the gym.
Marc MelviezChief Strategy Officer
Marc Melviez joined Hexagon Geospatial in 2017 and is responsible for designing and implementing strategic projects. Previously, Marc was the Group CEO for Luciad. He holds a master’s degree in business engineering from the Solvay Brussels School. His career started at KPMG, where he was a financial auditor, and at Management Science America (MSA), where he was software applications specialist. He later created and managed several software companies, which he drove to fast growth and high profitability. In addition to his leadership role at Hexagon Geospatial, he serves on the boards of IDDI and its subsidiary, Cluepoints, as well as W.IN.G (Wallonia Innovation and Growth) by Digital Wallonia, an organization that helps evaluate and fund promising digital start-ups in the French-speaking region of Belgium. Marc is also an experienced instrument-rated pilot qualified on high performance aircraft.
Georg HammererChief Technology Officer - Applications
Georg Hammerer sets the technical direction for Hexagon Geospatial applications, leading the Research & Development, Licensing, and Customer Support efforts worldwide. In addition to Operations experience, he was the Product Line Director for Intergraph’s geospatial server products and Managing Director of Intergraph Austria. Before that, he was the development lead for GeoMedia Smart Client. Georg greatly enjoys spending time with his family, and often skis the slopes with his wife and two boys, a skill he says is mandatory for all Austrians. He also plays beach volleyball whenever he can. Georg says being one of the oldest players in his league doesn’t stop him from regularly acing opponents.

Frank SuykensChief Technology Officer - Platforms
Frank Suykens leads platform Research & Development and services for Hexagon’s Geospatial division.
As leader of Luciad R & D since 2005, Frank was instrumental in evolving a single startup product into an award-winning 5D software platform. He has also led the Luciad development services team since 2016, a team that helps customers build powerful, real-time applications with the Luciad Portfolio platform.
Frank holds a Ph.D in Computer Graphics, researching photo-realistic image synthesis, and a M.Sc. in Software Engineering from the University of Leuven in Belgium. He began his career as a software engineer in the prepress industry at Barco.
Frank serves on the board of the Open Geospatial Consortium and is advisor for the Computer Science curriculum at the University of Leuven.
In his spare time, Frank enjoys chess, badminton, and last, but not least, fine dining.

Marek BendkowskiChief Operating Officer
Marek Bendkowski is responsible for Hexagon Geospatial’s IT infrastructure and sales support systems, as well as project management with strategic investments. He has experience leading projects related to the optimization of business processes, M&A, management and project accounting business systems implementation, among others. Prior to becoming a freelance consultant, he worked in several international IT and telecom companies at national, regional and global level. Marek has over 18 years of professional experience, graduated with a degree in Economics, and is an ACCA fellow (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). As a passionate cyclist, Marek founded Crankk, a high quality urban cycling apparel manufacturing company.

Christoph de PreterChief Sales Officer
Christoph De Preter leads Hexagon Geospatial's global Direct Sales teams and is responsible for platform and project sales. As former Chief Commercial Officer for Luciad, he achieved international growth and profitability through Luciad's network of System Integrators, Luciad Certified Partners and OEM Partners. Christoph holds a B.A., J.D. and LL.M. in intellectual property from the respective Universities of Leuven, Berlin and Brussels. Christoph started his career as a PhD fellow and assistant professor at the Interdisciplinary Center for Law and Information Technology (University of Leuven). He then practiced as attorney-at-law with the international firms of Baker & McKenzie and Crowell & Moring. In addition to his leadership role at Hexagon Geospatial, he currently serves on the board of BME, a fast-growing European smart logistics company. Christoph has previously held mandates on the Boards of Directors of Luciad and AFCEA International. Christoph is a full IronMan finisher and cross-continental swimmer, having crossed the Bosphorus strait from Asia to Europe.

Jason SimsChief Channel & Marketing Officer
Jason Sims leads our global indirect sales channel, which includes our network of Value-Added Resellers. In addition, he is also responsible for our global education and marketing programs. Jason began his career with SAS, and has over ten years of leadership experience within Hexagon (Leica Geosystems, Intergraph, and Hexagon Geospatial). In his current role, Jason combines his passion for sharing compelling geography stories and building an international community of partners and users. When he has free time, he enjoys CrossFit or finding a reason to get outdoors and explore.
