OUR STORY
GEOSYSTEMS has outstanding expertise in remote sensing, photogrammetry, GIS, and geospatial data management. As a Hexagon Geospatial Platinum Partner for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, GEOSYSTEMS offers Hexagon Geospatial Power Portfolio® and M.App Portfolio® solutions.
GEOSYSTEMS adds value to the Hexagon Geospatial portfolio by providing focused add-on modules for atmospheric correction and UAV data processing. Additionally, GEOSYSTEMS develops automated end-to-end processing chains from sensor data to meaningful spatial information.
Services cover workflow streamlining, process optimization, consulting, software development, system integration, support, and training. GEOSYSTEMS has been internationally successful for almost 30 years. The success of the company is based on their ability to solve customers’ unique problems by delivering customer-focused solutions in conjunction with Hexagon Geospatial software.
One of the most experienced partners worldwide. A Hexagon Geospatial solutions distributor since 1989, GEOSYSTEMS has decades of experience in the GeoIT business. The organization was also awarded the Hexagon Geospatial Technology Award EMEA in 2015 for outstanding technological expertise.
Vast Development Experience in Remote Sensing Applications:
At the national warning center in Vorarlberg, Austria, an automated UAV workflow provided by GEOSYSTEMS delivers current and accurate spatial data to support crisis management and response. This workflow consists of IMAGINE UAV, ERDAS APOLLO, and GeoMedia Smart Client.
For more information, see the full case study (in German).
Using Sentinel data with the GEOSYSTEMS solution mySentinel, an automated workflow that covers downloading, mosaicking, and cloud masking was used to deliver a fully independent Sentinel archive for the federal state in Northern Germany.

In 2013, a team comprised of faculty members from Germany’s Dresden University, camera men, a producer, and an experienced expedition team set out to locate and film the never-before-recorded source of the Guyanese Essequibo River and its source valley.
The team’s ability to chart a course for their expedition was complicated by minimal satellite data availability due to a limited timeframe and almost permanent cloud coverage of the area. But with the help of powerful image processing capabilities in ERDAS IMAGINE, which was acquired through GEOSYSTEMS, the team was confident in their ability to plan and follow a course to the river. They then hoped to gather their own data they could compare to chart and map data of the river collated by 19th century German-born explorer Robert Schomburgk.

The State Forestry Institute of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Germany implemented a statewide data management system with support from GEOSYSTEMS. The solution leverages Hexagon Geospatial’s ERDAS APOLLO for cataloguing, managing, and deploying raster and vector data as well as point clouds and documents. This enables the State Forestry Institute to satisfy the increasing demand for spatial data from inside the administration and from other users.
