Making LiDAR Work for You – Processing and Exploitation
The utilization of point clouds is on the rise! As LiDAR data becomes more accessible and available, and the overall cost trends downward, LiDAR data is experiencing increased usage in urban planning, asset management, oil and gas, transportation, utility, and defense applications. Aerial and mobile LiDAR data can be used to generate volumetric analytics for civil engineering design, mining operations, environmental and engineering studies, to capture/edit vector asset models for transportation and public works operations, and to generate elevation products for cartography. We’ll demonstrate LiDAR workflows with ERDAS IMAGINE and GeoMedia during this webcast to show you how you can benefit from the increasing availability of LiDAR data.
