Volumetric Measure Using Geospatial Technology

Using high-resolution terrain information generated from stereo imagery, you can obtain volumetric measurements for monitoring and surface analysis. Examples include amount of soil removed from a quarry or mine, estimate amount of construction materials stored in piles, debris deposited by a landslide. Workflows for such tasks are detailed, including preparing the project and stereo imagery, creating a digital surface model (DSM), and taking volumetric measurements.
